Architect Phillip Kats from Kazan studied at Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, Moscow Institute of Architecture and Jewish University of Jerusalem. Using the Foursquare data and an interactive Moscow map, Phillip probed behind the inhabitants’s perception of the city. His ultimate aim was to facilitate the work of local authorities – adapting Moscow’s public places to the real needs of the the city dwellers. Now Philipp is a special projects editor at RIA Novosti.
