She studied the evolution of public art in Moscow in recent decades, and compared what she found to the situation in New York. She covered both officially sanctioned public art and also informal and illegal art over a period of several decades, ranging from official Soviet monuments to the radical street art of the fugitive contemporary collective Voina. Daria currently works as an architecture editor at Interior + Design magazine.
