Transforming places. Park revolution in London

19.10.2012, 10:25

During the last decade of the 20th century many of London’s parks were in crisis and were not a political priority — neglected, unwelcoming, underused, and with inadequate provision in places. The new millennium has brought a renaissance to the city’s green spaces which LDA Design has had a major influence upon.

LDA design partner in charge, landscape architect Andrew Harland will illustrate this transformation through selected examples including the regeneration of historic parks, remodelling failing green spaces and creating new post industrial landscapes as at the London 2012 Olympic Park.
