The development of interactive technologies seems to be bridging the gap between cultural institutions and their audience: now these institutions can use all communication means available to interact with more and more people. However, what language do cultural media speak and does everyone understand it? Does classical and academic art – theater, opera and ballet – have a chance to engage young people via social networks? How can we get an intergenerational dialogue going? How can we ensure the continuity of traditions?
Goal: to work out an understanding of how cultural media should develop to make both traditional and modern culture accessible for a wider audience.
