Jameson First Shot: Kevin Spacey at Strelka


Kevin Spacey presented the winners of Jameson First Shot at Strelka Institute for media, architecture and design.

The international competition for young cinematographers Jameson First Shot and Strelka Institute for media, architecture and design invited its friends to see three winning movies of the competition 2013 – “The Smile Man” by Anton Lanshakov (Russia), “Saving Norman” by Hanneke Schutte (South Africa) and “Love’s Routine” by Shirlyn Wong (USA) and discuss them together with Kevin Spacey and Roman Volobuev.

Anton Lanshakov’s film «The Smile Man», the Russian winner of the second season of Jameson First Shot, focuses on a man dealing with the consequences of a car accident, which has left him with a spinal injury that means he has a permanent smile on his face.

Guest starring in all the winning movies is a prominent actor Willem Defoe, who worked with such world famous masters as Lars von Trier, Wim Wenders, Kathryn Bigelow, Oliver Stone and many more.
