Nowadays it is common to think that economic benefit and careful restoration of architectural monuments are irreconcilable. But is this really the case? This subject will be covered by Terje Nypan, a consultant and expert in cultural heritage from Norway, and Ippolito Pestellini, the architect who developed a successful project for the renovation of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi palace in Venice. Their presentations will be followed by commentaries from Moscow experts in the field.
